Philip Waltrip joined Haversine Funding as a consultant in late 2020. Previously, he was the Chief Credit Officer for Allied Affiliated Funding, a division of Axiom Bank, where he had worked since 1995, initially starting as their CPA and then officially joining the team in 2008 as Chief Financial Officer. He currently owns a CPA practice with over 250 clients. Philip has over 25 years of experience in management, with expertise in accounting, tax, mergers and acquisitions, human resources, workouts, and as an advisor in civil litigations. Philip has worked or has been an advisor or board member for several businesses through his career all in different industries including manufacturing, factoring, consumer finance, construction, healthcare nursing, pharmacies and infusion care, staffing, oil and gas, real estate, cattle, helicopter, airline, advertising, public relations and many others. Philip has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis on accounting, graduating from the University of Texas at Dallas. He also has his CPA license. Philip enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with his family and their dog, Bear.
